HRD in Exile

This report attempts to shed light to the needs and experiences of exiled human rights defenders.
It also examines strategies that can be taken to promote their well being and to ensure that their wealth of knowledge and experience in fighting for social justice is not lost.
While this report is not based on a quantitative study and cannot claim to represent the situations of all exiled human rights defenders, it does provide insight into some of the main challenges and issues faced by that population.
