Field Protection of IDP

Joining the growing international concern about the serious deterioration of physical security and
Human Rights of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in areas of armed conflict, the
European Office of Peace Brigades International (PBI) presents in the following pages, the
minutes of its international seminar held on June 5th and 6th 2002 in Brussels.

Governments, European Institutions, United Nations agencies, International Organizations
and international and local NGOs have participated to this event to share strategies and to
improve their cooperation, specifically from an international perspective.
